Scientist publishes findings nobody understands but everyone funds
An Atomical paper titled "On the Nature of Things, Partially" has 80 pages, 400 equations and zero readers who finished it. It just got fully funded.
Atomical. Nobody we spoke to has read the whole thing. Three reviewers made it to page 12. One made it to page 30 and had to lie down.
It doesn't matter. Eight different funds have backed the research. Atomical's Science reserves are the highest they've ever been.
I don't know what it says. I know it says it with a lot of confidence. That's worth funding.
Atomical sells Science, and right now it has a lot to sell. The author has started on a sequel. It will be longer.
